I can't manage to work exim + mysql + courier-imap quotas. I have followed your configuration files and explanations but I am still unable to make the quota work. For webmail I use roundcube. Any hints? Thanks!

That doesn't work today. To many software parts changed. FFMPEG's configure doesn't support any of these options. Some pakages like dfb++ cannot be found anymore.

VDR has the worst documentation ever.

The procedure to remove the optical drive seems unnecessarily complicated, try this (from HP website) Remove the optical drive by following these steps:
a. Turn the computer bottom side up with the left side
facing forward.
b. Remove the two TM2.5 × 5.0 screws that secure the
optical drive to the base enclosure (Figure 5-4).
c. Turn the computer topside up with the right side facing
forward.
d. Insert a paper clip or similar thin metal rod into the
manual release hole on the front bezel of the optical
drive 1 (Figure 5-5). Press firmly.
e. Grasp the drive bezel and slide the drive out of the optical
drive bay .

A very good post! This is one of the more important articles that contributed to my knowledge of exim and qpopper.
I've got a similar post on my site for a quick easy set up. http://www.phpboy.co.za/unix-apps/exim-with-mysql
